We want you to be able to get the most from the Rose City Bridal Showcase. With these helpful tips you should have a very successful bridal show:

1) Wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes. You'll be glad you did.

2) Be prepared to register at the door. Be patient! This is well worth it.

3) Bring preprinted self-adhesive address labels with the following information: your name, address, phone, email, and wedding date. This will save you time and allow you to sign up for anything you want very quickly.

4) Bring someone with you – they will notice things that you may have missed.

5) Bring a pen and print very clearly when registering for anything.

6) Bring your checkbook in case you decide to book services or hold dates with a deposit. Be sure to check on refund policies before giving any money, and read the contract carefully before signing.

7) Collect any information you are interested in so you can look it over once you get home.

8) If you cannot attend, send someone in your place to register for prizes and collect information on services you need. If they miss someone all of the exhibitors contact information is available on the bridal show website under Sponsor & Exhibitor Information.

9) It is nice if your fiancé attends with you. Many guys attend, so he won't be the only one there!

10) Arrive at least one hour prior to the fashion show. Seating is usually first-come first-served so bring something that you can place on your chair to hold your place. This will allow you to spend the remaining time talking with the exhibitors until the fashion show starts.

11) Relax and have fun – this is your time to prepare for your special day.

You will be receiving your exhibitor packets from CMPOR during the week of the September 12th. This will have your exhibitor handbook, rack cards with discount coupon, display sign if you are a store front and a form for if you would like to participate in the wedding giveaway. You should be receiving your exhibitor kit from PEDCO this same week.

The Red Lion Hotel Portland-Convention Center is offering a special rate if you like like to stay directly across from the convention center.

Booth Information
Booths Size: 10ft (deep) x 10ft (wide) / 10 x 15 / 10 x 20 booths available for exhibitors.

Booth Package: 8ft back with 3ft sides, 6ft table draped and skirted, 2 chairs, garbage can.

As an exhibitor of the Showcase, you will receive an excel file of the names and contact information (Name, Address, Wedding Date, services needed and much more)

You will be able to choose where your booth is located for the Showcase, however, it will be on a first-come, first-serve basis and we will make sure that exhibitors in the same wedding service industry are not exhibiting next to each other.

We will be offering two fashion shows on each day of the Showcase. This is a chance for the different vendors to showcase their wedding dresses, tuxes, flowers. This is only offered to exhibitors who purchase a full booth and are under one of these categories.

If you are interested in exhibiting at the Showcase, please contact me as soon as possible since space is limited. All exhibitors participating in the Showcase will be listed in the promotional information that will be distributed at the Showcase and in the special wedding pullout section that The Community Newspapers will be producing.

Oregon Bride, Bravo! Wedding Resource Guide, Oregon Bridal Guide,
These magazines are distributed at the Portland Bridal Show and other shows throughout the year. They are also distributed at the different businesses that advertise in their publications and are mailed directly to new brides-to-be.

Oregonian, The Community Newspapers & Argus:
The Bridal Guide will be published and distributed in the September, 2010 papers. Exact date will be announced at a later date. We will also be advertising in the local newspapers published by The Community Newspapers. Gresham Outlook, Sandy Post and Forest Grove News, Clackamas Review, Oregon City News Beaverton Times, Tigard Times, Tualatin Times, Lake Oswego Review and West Linn Tidings

Media: Advertising will start 2 weeks prior to event.

Official Bridal Guide Advertising: If you would like to advertise in the official bridal guide please contact: Claudia Stewart with the Community Newspaper at 503-492-5190 and she will be happy to help you.

1) Your company will be listed on the Bridal Showcase website. This will be one more way to drive customers to your site.

2) We will be working to help you promote your company to the new brides by promoting your company through advertising and word of mouth.

3) Depending on what your company sells you may be able to participate in the different aspects of the Fashion Show. We will try to use all exhibitors that qualify. This will be a wonderful place for you to showcase your product. If you participate in the Fashion show your company will be listed under "Fashion Show Exhibitors" in the Bridal Showcase Wedding Pullout.

4) If you donate a product or service to the door prizes, you will have an additional listing in the Bridal Showcase Wedding pullout.

5) All Exhibitors will be listed in the Bridal Showcase Wedding pullout with company contact information and booth number.

6) At the end of the show you will be emailed an excel spreadsheet with the names of the attendees, contact information, services needed, wedding dates and so much more.
